Hello, I am Ying Hui, born and raised in Malaysia. I started drawing when I was young, around 7-8 years old. I couldn’t imagine my life without being able to create something fun or meaningful to someone. And here I am today, very blessed with a “job” which is also my illustration and storytelling dream. I lived in London and Reading, UK for more than 10 years and now I am back in Malaysia with my family, living in a small town in Perak.
I enjoy experimenting with shapes, movement, flow, colours and light to deliver the little wild and big fun I want in each piece. Whenever I work on a new project, I keep a learning heart and open mind. I appreciate every given opportunity and experience to move forward as a creator, storyteller and team player. A big THANK YOU to those who believe in me. I am also blessed to be the illustrator of New York Times #1 Best Seller “What is God like?”
Other than drawing, I love animals, nature, cooking, travelling, discovering local food and observing local life.
